As a 90-year-old, I recognize that I am well set in my ways. However, when I recently went with my daughter to attend a concert by the World Meditation Ensemble, I was surprised to find that I was totally immersed in the music.

The combination of instruments, both old and unusual, singing, and offering chants from native Americans, aborigines, and other ethnic groups became very involving. I couldn't help but move to the rhythm of the music, and if I had known the chants you would have heard me singing.

It was a very enjoyable evening. When I left, it was with a sense of peace and joy in my heart. Music is magical, especially when it is offered by a group as committed and caring as this one.
